Browse project floorplans

Viewer can display multiple floorplans which can be derived from laser data or .pdf files. These are set to correspond with the site major elevation changes and are defined when you create a Viewer project.

You can also use sectional plans for side elevations at key points of interest. The illustrations below show sectional and building level floorplans.

View floorplans in a project

To show a list of available floorplans in a project:

1. Select the Floorplan tab.

2. To display a floorplan in the main Viewer window, select it from the list.

3. To search for a floorplan by name, use the Search field at the top of the list.

When a floorplan is loaded, you can then select the Datasets tab and use the Search field at the dataset level to filter specific datasets or scans.

If Coloured Filtering is enabled under the Options menu > General > Interactions, any scans that match the search phrase appear with a green border around them.

Go to xyz coordinates

Use this feature to enter a specific x, y, z location and open the best BubbleView of that coordinate.

4. Select the Go to coordinates arrow at the bottom of the Floorplans tab to open the x, y, z coordinates window.

   

5. Enter a value in each of the coordinate fields.

6. Select the highlighted arrow.

   The best BubbleView opens, centered on the specified position.
