We are pleased to announce our new release of Point Cloud Manager on CONNECT. Please browse through this help for information on new features and bug fixes.

Features

• Rendering of classification instancing in 3D Context Viewer

  For projects that have been classified through the Admin panel, this data can now be rendered in the context viewer. Clicking on an object in the solid points will highlight the instances and their groups.

• Fast Measurement Service

  The time taken to create a measurement and get accurate response has now been improved. This improvement will be available when working through the browser or through the Desktop application.

• Download Project storage information

  For users with access to the Project Management Tab, there is now the option to download project data. Clicking the download icon at the top-right of the window will create a .csv file of all projects the user has access to and their storage limits.

Bug Fixes

• Compass not showing correct direction within BubbleViews – Now shows correct direction

• Purge not clearing all stored data – Purge now removes all unused data from the project including all Snapshots

• Scan conversion – Further improvements have been made to the scan conversion process, improving conversion rate for edge case scans which would previously fail or delete
