February - Release 2

This section includes features, resolved issues, and known issues covered as part of the 25.1.0 on CONNECT release.

New features and enhancements

• 3D Context Viewer multiple dataset support: 3D Context Viewer supports loading full datasets for use of fly-through mode in browser. This release enables multiple datasets to be loaded at the same time. This improvement enhances navigation for large projects.

• Volume JSON upload: Volumes created in local Point Cloud Manager projects can be exported into a JSON file. This file can now be imported into CONNECT projects through the Admin panel. 

  Please note volumes can only be viewed through the desktop application.

Resolved issues

• Case - N/A - (Defect - 3651368) - Dataset generation: Fixed an issue where the option to start dataset generation was available while scans had not finished conversion.

• Measurement service: Fixed an issue where the measurement service would fail for instances that had low point density.

• Case - N/A - (Defect - 3709725) - Z+F Flexscan rotation issue: Fixed an issue where Z+F Flexscan E57 data would show panoramic images rotated 90 degrees in the incorrect location.

Known issues

• Colour file upload: Some scans will not convert within the Admin panel if the colour files have been uploaded at a separate time. It is advised to upload the scan and colour information at the same time.
