AVEVA System Monitor now uses AVEVA Identity Manager for client authentication, requiring you to enter your Windows Active Directory credentials. The system supports token-based authentication, where AVEVA Identity Manager verifies your credentials. If the credentials are valid, then AIM generates an access token, which then enables you to log into the AVEVA System Monitor seamlessly.
Note: Prior to logging into the System Monitor Manager for the first time, the URL for AVEVA System Monitor needs to be added to the Trusted Site(s) in the browser.
