AppControl Restrictions

Due to security policies and Service Level Agreement requirements, the following Application Control restrictions are in place:

• You can only run AVEVA signed or Microsoft signed executables, DLLs, and PowerShell scripts.

• Unsigned or untrusted PowerShell scripts will run in Constrained Language Mode.

  • .vbs, .js, .cmd, and .bat scripts cannot be code‑signed and are allowed only if explicitly permitted by policy (path, hash, or Managed Installer).

Version upgrade

Upgrade to the latest version of the AVEVA Cloud Storage Controller application for your on-premises setup at your earliest convenience.

This upgrade ensures that you receive the latest fixes, enhanced synchronization, and continued compatibility with the server-side installation.
