Start and stop transferring data to CONNECT

You can start or stop transferring data to CONNECT at any time using the Configurator.

  1. Launch Historian Agent Configurator.

  2. Select Sign In in the top right and enter your CONNECT credentials. Once you have signed in, the Sign In button is replaced by your CONNECT user name.

To start transferring data to CONNECT data services:

Select Start publishing at the bottom of the Replication service configuration section.

The Publishing status section reflects that Historian Agent is now publishing data to CONNECT.

To stop transferring data to CONNECT data services:

Select Stop publishing at the bottom of the Replication service configuration section:

The Publishing status section reflects that Historian Agent has stopped publishing data to CONNECT.
Publishing is inactive

Note: When you stop and later restart replicating to CONNECT, it results in data no longer being replicated to CONNECT data services. The missing data can be backfilled using Historian Agent.
