Health and diagnostics

Historian Agent sends health and diagnostics information about itself, its host computer, and its network connectivity to CONNECT data services. Historian Agentcreates a discrete tag named <nodename>.HistorianAgent.HealthStatus to monitor the connection between the agent and CONNECT data services. Historian Agent sends data to this tag every five minutes.

The agent health and diagnostics information is available in the CONNECT data services portal, and is also available as data streams that can be viewed and analyzed. In addition, each transfer configured on the agent will send health and diagnostics information. For details around the different health and diagnostics data available to you, see the following:
