Expectations and limitations
The following expectations and deprecated features should be considered for this release of Historian Agent:
Install patches to Historian before installing Historian Agent 2.0
When Historian Agent 2.0 is installed, if you install a patch to a version of Historian prior to Historian 2026 replication to CONNECT stops. To prevent this issue, we recommend installing Historian patches before installing the agent.
If you have already installed Historian Agent 2.0 before installing the patch and replication has stopped, complete the following steps:

Uninstall Historian Agent.

Reinstall Historian Agent.
New features and enhancements
Support for CONNECT V2
Historian Agent now supports CONNECT V2.
Added advanced replication configuration settings
Historian Agent includes settings for fine tuning replication to CONNECT. See Configure advanced replication settings for more information.
Added ability to import OCMC tag configurations replicating to CONNECT V1
Historian Agent can now import tag configurations that were configured in the OCMC to replicate to a CONNECT V1 . See Import tags from CONNECT V1 OCMC replication configurations for more information.
Support for namespace instances that have multiple sites
If you connect Historian Agent to a namespace instance that has multiple sites, you can now choose a site as well. See Run the Historian Agent Configurator for more information.
