Upgrade Historian Agent

If you already have Historian Agent installed and download a newer version, you can upgrade your previous installation.

1. Launch HistorianAgentInstaller.exe.

2. Select Upgrade. Historian Agent upgrades your current installation to the latest version.
   

If you are using Insight Publisher

Insight Publisher can not run while installing or upgrading Historian Agent. During installation or upgrade of Historian Agent, a pop-up window instructs you to stop aahSupervisor. When stopped, Insight Publisher replication stops until the Historian Agent Configurator is opened.

Note: During the time Historian Agent is being upgraded, publishing to CONNECT stops, which results in data no longer being replicated to CONNECT data services. The missing data can be backfilled using Historian Agent.
