For each instance you create, settings are stored in a separate startup batch .bat in the PI UFL interface installation folder.

To create an instance of the PI UFL interface, perform the following steps:

  1. Start PI ICU.

  2. Select Interface > New from BAT file.

  3. Browse to the folder where the interface is installed, select PI_UFL.bat_new, and then select Open.

    The Select PI Host Server window appears.

  4. Specify your Data Archive and select OK.

    PI ICU displays the settings for the new instance of the interface.

  5. Edit the startup parameters on the UFL tab.
