AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1 provides enhanced features and functionalities to further support users in the creation of simple and complex use scenarios and composite applications rapidly.

The following are the new features and enhancements available in AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1:

  • Remote Farm Configuration.

  • Passphrase migration tool to migrate passphrase and configuration settings from one machine to another.

  • Supports editing the details of Scheduler Associations in workflows.

  • Supports exporting and deleting list items from Custom List.

  • Supports multiple Unique Environment Name (UEN) when the Workflow Gateway Objects are provisioned to different repositories.

  • Added localization support for Dutch language in AVEVA Work Tasks Pro.

The following are the other enhancements for AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1 release:

  • Enhanced Token refresh mechanism for workflow engine so that workflows run smoothly.

  • Supports column name with spaces in Web API preview.

  • Supports Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) for the Active Directory DataSource field while creating Repository for Active Directory provider.

  • Supports Alias Name in the domain while creating Active Directory Provider repository.

  • Users can log in with the Secondary Authentication Provider when the Primary Authentication Provider is not accessible.

  • Binary Serialization used for sending and receiving messages in the Enterprise Server scenario has been changed to Json Serialization.

  • Supports AIM authentication to access:

    • AVEVA Work Tasks controls in InTouch HMI

    • Enterprise Console in System Platform IDE

  • Supports second-level Object type parameters in the Web API.

  • Supports reconfiguring Workflow Gateway Object (WGO) to reset LoggedInUserID to the currently logged-in user and allows that user to execute the workflow.

  • Compatibility enhancement to support Workflow tab for older AOT objects.

  • Safeguard against blank or incorrect object definition in Web API configuration.

  • Lookups can be configured using Web APIs without adding dummy data.

  • Usage of Microsoft Edge WebView2 control instead of IE Web Browser control in AVEVA Work Tasks 2023 SP1 Connectors for System Platform and AVEVA InTouch.

  • Optimized Form page load.

  • Enhanced Base Form with Display Mode as Grid to show the columns in proper format when present inside an Embed Form control and in the main form.

  • Security fixes and third-party components updates.
