Configure the License Server

You can configure the License Server details, such as License Server name and port.
To configure License Server

In the License Server Name box, type the name of the AVEVA Enterprise License Server. If you have already configured the license server, then the name of configured License Server is displayed.

In the License Server Port box, type the port number used by the AVEVA Enterprise License Server. Ensure that you enter a valid port number.

Click Configure.
The confirmation messages appears in the Configuration Message Log section, and the Next button is enabled.
Note: AVEVA Work Tasks does not validate the License Server details entered.

Click Next.
The License Server details are configured successfully.
Editing the License Server Details

If the Farm Configuration Wizard is already open, click Next to continue with License Server configuration.
However, if the Farm Configuration Wizard is not open due to any reason, you can manually start the wizard. To manually start the wizard and then configure the License Server, complete the following steps:

Close the Farm Configuration Wizard window that is automatically opened.

On the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, point to AVEVA, and then, select Farm Configuration Wizard.

Right-click Farm Configuration Wizard, and then click Run as administrator.
The Welcome to the Farm Configuration Wizard screen appears.
Note: The Farm Configuration Wizard should be run with administrative privileges.

Click Next.
The Edit Farm Settings window appears.

In the Edit Farm Settings window, select the Configure License Server check box.
The Configure License Server dialog box.

In the License Server Name box, type the name of the AVEVA Enterprise License Server. If you have already configured the license server, then the name of configured License Server is displayed.

In the License Server Port box, type the port number used by the AVEVA Enterprise License Server. Ensure that you enter a valid port number.

Click Configure.
The confirmation messages appears in the Configuration Messages section, and the Next button is enabled.
