Configure AVEVA Teamwork

To enable publishing from AVEVA Development Studio to your Teamwork site, you must configure the Teamwork connection and provide a valid API key.

Prerequisites

  • You must have Administrator rights in AVEVA Development Studio to configure Teamwork.

  • Obtain the Teamwork site name and API key from your Teamwork administrator.

  • The API key is required only if you intend to publish to Teamwork.

To configure AVEVA Teamwork

  1. From the navigation rail, select Entitlements.

    The entitlements page displays.

  2. Locate the AVEVA Teamwork card, and select the Configure icon configure icon.

    Alternatively, you can also configure Teamwork from within the product page. To do this, select Learn more on the AVEVA Teamwork card, and then select the Configure icon configure icon on the product page.

  3. In the Site name field, enter a site name that matches the teamwork server instance creation details sent to you by the Poka team.

    Do one of the following:

    • Enter the characters between the "https://" and ".teamwork.poka.io" in the Site name field.

    • Paste the whole URL in the Site name field.

  4. In the Teamwork API key field, enter the API key to publish to Teamwork.

    The API key enables secure communication with the Teamwork server.

  5. Select Verify Connection.

    If the connection is successful and the Teamwork server address matches the Site name specified, then the Verify connection button is enabled.

    The button checks that the Teamwork server is reachable and confirms that the API key can be used to establish communication.

    • If the connection is successful, Connected to Teamwork message appears.

    • If the connection fails, Connection failed error message appears.

    • If the connection is successful but the API key is incorrect, Connected to Teamwork, invalid API key message appears.

  6. Select Save to apply your settings.

    The Teamwork configuration is saved and Teamwork is configured.

  7. Select Edit to change the site name or API key after saving.
