Manage Version

You can view, download, delete, and edit the model and publish it to Teamwork within your Development Studio account.

Important! Operations other than delete remain disabled until malware scanning is complete.

On the Project versions page, you can view the following details for each backup version:

• Name of the backup and the target platform

• Import button to add new backups

• List of all versions uploaded under the selected project

• Description of the project

• Last modified date for each version

• Name of the user who uploaded the version

• Size of the backup

• Last published to Teamwork date

• Download Teamwork report

• Status of operations, such as ongoing malware scanning, error messages, successful or failed publish to Teamwork, and active editing activity.

• Status/Actions menu with options to download, delete, edit model and publish, and takeover session.

Key Features

• Upload backup: Upload multiple versions of the same project backup. This creates a historical record, so you can track changes and updates over time.

• Download version: Download any version of the project.

• Delete version: Remove specific versions of a project to keep your backups organized.

• Edit model and publish: Design a model based on a selected backup version and publish it to Teamwork.

• Takeover session: Take control of an active editing session for a model.

  Note: Only users with Teamwork Publisher and Administrator roles can take over a session.

Prerequisites and roles

• Roles: Ensure that you have the correct role to manage versions:

  • Administrator, Contributor or Teamwork Publisher: Can view, download, delete, edit, and publish backup versions.

  • Viewer: Can view and download backup versions, but cannot delete them.

• Only System Platform Galaxy backups from 2017 and later are supported.
