Configured Status control

Status control provides the capability to control and report on the status of objects as they progress through their lifecycles. The default configuration includes the three sets of status control definitions.

Status control definition for model objects

The default configuration includes the Status control definition for model objects, such as engineering tag items, which is shown in the following image.

Status control definition for discipline-specific datasets

The default configuration includes a Status control definition for distributed attributes (Discipline specific dataset), such as XPITEMs items, which is shown in the following image.

Status control definition for documents

The default configuration includes the Status control definition for documents such as datasheets (DSINST), drawings (ECDRAW), and engineering document packs (EDOCPK) as outlined in the following image.
