The AVEVA Default Configuration includes a comprehensive, purpose-built hierarchical data model, defined, developed and managed within the AVEVA Unified Engineering Configuration module. The model is structured using parent/child relationships between classes, this allows the inheritance of Attributes, Class Associations and Vocabulary decorations down through the hierarchy.
Classes, along with their associated Attributes and Class Associations, form the core of the model and provide the foundational intelligence supporting the data-centric approach of AVEVA Unified Engineering.
The required Dabacon database definitions are programmatically generated and maintained through the build process. The Vocabularies, Conceptual Model and built Dabacon database elements work together to apply the appropriate business logic and contextual behavior, delivering the engineering intelligence that defines the AVEVA Unified Engineering solution.
Note:
Manual modifications to the built Dabacon definitions should be avoided, changes can
lead to data integrity and consistency issues if the model is subsequently rebuilt.
