When you assign a physical dimension to the Real attribute, you should consider the following:

The dimension of any attribute values used.

The unit qualifiers of any values supplied.

It is not possible to assign a unit of measurement (UoM) to a string.

Identification of the attributes that have unit less values, such as Specific Gravity (SG).
