The telemetry for the RTQP Engine is activated in the PI AF server installation when you select to participate in the PI System Customer Experience Improvement Program. Usage data are collected continually, aggregated, and anonymized. The data are sent once a day. This means that we cannot use this data to identify you and no business data or logic is collected. If data cannot be sent, a warning is logged and data are deleted.

Logged data includes:

  • Information about the system, for example:

    • Operating system version

    • RTQP Engine version

    • Number of processors

    • Size of memory

    • Time zone where the system is located

  • Aggregated information about the queries, for example:

    • Number of queries

    • Number of parameterized queries

    • Min/Avg/Max result row count

    • Min/Avg/Max execution time

    • Min/Avg/Max time needed to retrieve the first row

    • Min/Avg/Max throughput

  • Number of different SQL constructs

  • Number of tables exposed by the RTQP Engine

  • The ten slowest queries according to the throughput

Note: In the interest of protecting the privacy of the person or entity that initiated the query, only the structure of the query is provided. For backtracking, specific constants in the query would be used.
