PISqlDas​.RTQP​.Admin utility

Description

PISqlDas.RTQP.Admin.exe is a command-line utility located in %PIHome64%\SQLDAS\Tools. With this utility, you can repair certain PI SQL DAS (RTQP Engine) installation issues, including:

• Creating the RTQP configuration in the AF configuration database

• Granting read access to AF for the RTQP service account

• Granting read access to PIFD (SQL Server) for the RTQP service account

If one of these issues occurs, the installation completes successfully, but an error appears when you try to connect the RTQP engine. The error may be similar to the following: The system is not configured properly, please contact your system administrator.

The system administrator should run the PI SqlDas.RTQP.Admin utility. To fix the issues with AF, you must be logged in as an AF administrator when you run the utility. To fix the issue with granting read access to SQL Server, you must be logged in as SQL Server administrator when you run the utility. The utility can be run as many times as needed, including with different logins.
