Use Windows Event Viewer to log PI SQL DAS (RTQP Engine) activity. Use the following procedure to turn on logging.

  1. Start Event Viewer.

  2. Click View > Show Analytic and Debug Logs.

  3. Expand to Applications and Services Logs > OSIsoft > SQL > DataAccessServer-RTQP > Operational, right-click and click Enable Log.

    Now all PI SQL DAS activity is logged. Use any Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) tool for analyzing the trace events.
