In AVEVA Production Management Web Client, you can view, modify, and confirm events, access audit history for events and shift logs, classify events with Quick Complete, and more.
Events and Shift Log records displayed in the Web Client are based on reporting points. Access to these records depends on the configured user permissions. If you don't have the required permissions to a particular reporting point, it won't be shown in the Web Client.
To start using the Web Client, do these high-level configurations:
-
Associate the required permissions to the user role assigned to your user account. For information on the required permissions, see User and security permissions.
-
Configure the Events pane and Shift Log reporting points list
-
If you want to use the Quick Complete feature in the Web Client, ensure that it's enabled at a global level on the System Configuration node in Studio. You have the option to disable it for a specific reporting point. For information on enabling this feature, see Quick Complete.
