AVEVA Production Management Web Client 9.1.0 delivers a feature release and resolves several customer-reported issues, and introduces new and enhanced features.

New features and enhancements

These are the new and changed features in this release of the AVEVA Production Management Web Client.

Note: The full name of the application is AVEVA Production Management Web Client. After the first mention of the full application name, the term Web Client is used to refer to the application.

Enhancement to Time and period filters

The period definitions visible for selection in this window are now determined by the PeriodHierarchy property configured for a user group in the project. This change provides the ability to set period definitions visibility per user in Production Analyst and Web Client filters. For information on filtering data in Web Client, see Filter data in the AVEVA Production Management Web Client Help.

Events are not loaded as different certificates with the same subject are invalid

To resolve this certificate issue, the application now saves the thumbprint in the appsettings file of the respective microservices instead of saving the subject of the certificate.

Known issues

This release of AVEVA Production Management Web Client contains the following known issue(s). When possible, we will provide a workaround.

Truncation of text that's too long to display in the Web Client interface behaves differently on iOS devices.

By default, the text displayed in the Web Client interface with a minimal display width (such as Quick complete) is truncated to the left and shown with ellipsis. On iOS devices, it doesn't truncate text to the left, but an ellipsis is shown before the text and truncates to the right. For example, this text: "ACME.Jina Mine.Mining.ROM Stockyard.Electrical Services" should appear like this with default truncation: "....Jina Mine.Mining.ROM Stockyard.Electrical Services". However, on iOS devices, it appears like this: "...ACME.Jina Mine.Mining.ROMStockyard.Ele"

Workaround

We adjusted the display to show until the end of the text to provide more useful information. The left part of the text may appear cut off in an odd way as a result. For example, using the same text earlier, it may be shown as "ina Mine.Mining.ROM Stockyard.Electrical Services".

This fix is implemented only for Quick complete, so you may still see this issue in the Classification fields area.

Arrows on the on-screen keyboard don't work properly.

When using the arrows on the on-screen keyboard, they may not work as expected when navigating between fields within a page.

Workaround

We recommend using tab to navigate between fields.
