System requirements

Before installing the AVEVA Production Management Web Client, ensure that your environment meets the software and hardware requirements described in the following sections. Most of the system requirements are common to both AVEVA Production Management and the Web Client, including:

• Microsoft .NET 8.0 SDK

• Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)

• Microsoft ASP.NET 8.0

Additional software requirement

• AVEVA Platform Common Services (PCS) 8.0.2

  The Web Client installer doesn't check for PCS since you can install this together with AVEVA Production Management or on a separate server.

  Important You need to enable the port sharing service if you install PCS on the same computer as AVEVA Production Management, since both use the same port. For information on port sharing, see Enable Net.TCP Port Sharing in the AVEVA Production Management Installation Guide.

  Registration of the PCS client is required before you can access the Web Client.
