About Downtime reporting points

  • Last UpdatedMay 04, 2023

The Downtime reporting point item is responsible for capturing Downtime data. Downtime can capture two types of downtime:

  • Real downtime - Real downtime captures when a piece of equipment or a process is 100 percent down, that is, not producing.

  • Virtual downtime - Virtual downtime captures when a piece of equipment or a process is producing at less than target production levels.

A single Downtime reporting point can have many capture conditions, including a mix of real and virtual conditions.

  • Fields - The downtime data to capture and the fields in which to store the data.
