Sign in and get started

AVEVA Production Management Web Client supports token-based authentication, where an authentication tool verifies your user credentials. If the credentials are valid, the tool's authentication service generates an access token. This then enables you to log into the system.

To sign in to the Web Client

• Enter your username and password, and then select Sign In.

  

  You'll see the Events module page by default, where you can start navigating around the Web Client.

  The Web Client has a default timeout period of 30 hours. You need to log in again when:

  • The timeout limit is reached, or

  • You close the browser and reopen it.

  Note: If you want to use the Windows integrated login option, verify that your browser security settings for user authentication is set to Automatic logon with current username and password.
