Water Loss model creation utility

The Water Loss Model Creation Utility creates the hierarchical model in System Platform based on the Water Loss model. It reads Water Loss Hierarchy Family information from Water Loss API’s and create the same hierarchy family model in the System Platform using GRAccess toolkit.

To use the utility:

  1. Open the utility executing the AVEVAWaterLoss_ModelCreation.exe file located in Deliverables\InstallFiles\Products\AVEVAWaterLoss_ModelCreation folder.

  2. Generate the access token for Water Loss.

    1. Enter Access Token URL, Client ID, Scope, User Name and Password, and select Generate Access Token.

    2. If the process is executed properly, access Token Generated Successfully message is displayed.

  3. Select 2 to go to the next step and create the model.

    1. Enter Water Loss URL and select Get Hierarchy Family to populate the Select Hierarchy Family.

    2. From the Select Hierarchy Family drop down list, select the hierarchy family from Water Loss you want to replicate in the Application Server model. The messages in the bottom pane of the window displays the status of each action.

    3. Enable the checkbox Create Algorithm Attributes and Create Element Attributes to automatically create the attributes in the Application Server templates.

    4. Enter GR Node Name, Galaxy Name, User Name and Password of the galaxy where you want to create the model.

    5. Select Create Model to start the process. This process might take a few minutes and depends on the size of the model.

The process finishes when you see the Water Loss Model Created Successfully message.

Note: After importing packages, configure the object and then deploy the galaxy. For more information, refer Object configuration.
