Location1 attribute associates a point with a particular copy of PI OPCAE. Location1 is a positive integer. Its value is equal to the -id= parameter used in the startup command file (described later) and must match. For example, if -id=1 then the tag’s Location1 attribute should be set to 1.

Note: It is possible to start multiple interface processes on different PI Nodes. However, a separate Software License for the Interface is required.
