The DeltaV supports all 3 event types; Simple, Tracking and Conditional events. These event types are broke up into 18 Event Categories, listed below.

These event categories can be filtered within the DeltaV OPC AE server using the command arguments /EVCx= to specify the event category. (See the Command-line parameters section). Only those events specified in the command line argument will receive alarms and events from the server. Event categories are also filtered by the interface on a tag by tag basis using Location2 (See the PI Point configuration section).
