Welcome to PI Interface for OPC Alarms and Events

The PI Interface for OPC Alarms and Events (PI OPCAE) collects alarm and event information from OPC Alarms and Events (OPC AE) servers and archives it in the PI Data Archive. OPC AE is an industry standard for communicating process alarms and event-based information between servers and clients.

PI OPCAE enables long-term storage and analysis of operational events while providing flexible options for mapping event attributes to PI tags.
