Location2

Use this location to specify the event category filtering in a bit pattern. Location2 is used in conjuction with the startup bat file using the /evc parameter. To specify a bit pattern for a certain event category use the evc slot location within the interface startup .bat file. For example, if event categories 256, 257, 292 are specified in /evc1, /evc2 and /evc3 respectively, then the bit pattern is 7 (21-1 + 22-1 + 23-1)

Accurate Location2 configuration can only be performed by manually editing the PI Tag after the configuration tool completes the browsing of the server.
