Manage the PI Interface for OPC DA service

After you install the interface as a Windows service, use the procedures in this section to manage the service.

To verify that the service is running, run services.msc from the Windows Start menu.

To start and stop the service, use PI ICU.

To remove the service using PI ICU, stop it and select Remove.

To start the service interactively, use PI ICU and select Interface > Start Interactive.
Note: Interactive startup is usually done only for debugging.
