Learn about plug-ins (post-processing DLLs)

PI Interface for OPC DA can be configured to use plug-ins, which are DLLs that contain libraries of routines that perform application-specific data processing before the data is sent to Data Archive or the OPC server. The DLLs and their accompanying files and documentation are included in the PI Interface for OPC DA installation kit and are installed into the Plug-ins sub-directory under the installation directory.
