Create PI Ping points

Under Collectives and Servers, select the server or collective.

In the System Management Tools pane, select IT Points > Ping.

Select the desired interface node in the tree.

Click New Point on the toolbar, or right-click the interface and select Add New Point.

A new node is created under the selected interface.

Enter a name for the new PI Ping point now selected in the tree, such as a host name or IP address of the ping target.

Select the new point in Point Browser to view or edit the point's properties, or click + to view the name of the ping target and the target's scan classes:
