The SQC Alarms Wizard is a tool within the AVEVA PI System designed to facilitate the configuration and management of Statistical Quality Control (SQC) alarms. It simplifies the process of setting up alarms based on statistical methods, enabling quick identification and response to deviations from expected performance.

To launch the SQC Alarms Wizard, open SMT and go to PI System > System Management Tools, expand Operations in the SMT Navigation pane, then double-click SQC Alarms and select Launch Wizard.

The key features include:

  • Alarm configuration: Create, edit, and manage SQC alarms for real-time quality monitoring.

  • User-friendly interface: Define alarm attributes, generate monitoring points, configure charts and sampling methods, link points, and specify SQC pattern test conditions.

  • Real-time monitoring: Monitor SQC alarms and respond quickly to quality issues.
