Connect to PI Data Archive using PI OLEDB Provider

In PI SQL Commander Lite, verify that the Object Explorer pane is visible. If it is not, restart PI SQL Commander Lite.

In the Object Explorer pane, double-click PI OLEDB Provider to expand the list of available PI Data Archives.

Optional: Manually add more PI Data Archives.

Right-click PI OLEDB Provider and click Add PI Data Archive.

In the Add PI Data Archive window, enter the name of a Data Archive and click OK.

Do one of the following:

Double-click a Data Archive in the list.

Right-click a Data Archive in the list and click Connect.

In the PI OLEDB Provider Login window, provide credentials for a Windows user account, or select Use Windows NT Integrated security to use your Windows credentials to connect to Data Archive.

Optional: Click Options to specify additional provider options such as a log file, log level and extended properties, and additional PI SQL options such as time zone.

Click OK.
An arrow next to the server icon indicates that the connection is successful.
