PI SQL Commander Lite options

You can configure certain options of PI SQL Commander Lite to better suit your needs. Those options include the following:

• Font

  You can set the font type and size separately for Query Editor, Object Explorer, Grid Results, and Text Results and Messages.

• Maximum child nodes

  You can set the maximum number of child nodes to limit the number of tables, views, functions, and table functions displayed per parent folder in the Object Explorer pane. Displaying a large number of items can negatively affect the performance of PI SQL Commander Lite. This setting defaults to 500 items displayed per folder.

• Display of query results

  You can select how to output the results of a query. Options are Results to grid, Results to text, and Results to file. If you select Results to file, you can specify the default location for the files.

• Query execution command timeout

  You can set the time in seconds that PI SQL Commander Lite will attempt to execute a query. A time-out of 0 indicates that there is no timeout.

• Code completion

  Select this option to see suggestions while you are writing queries for PI SQL Client data sources. For details, see Code completion in queries.
