PI SQL Commander Lite

Set options

You can set options to configure PI SQL Commander Lite.

  1. With PI SQL Commander Lite open, click Tools > Options.

    The Options window opens.

  2. Click Environment in the left pane to view the font and maximum child nodes options.

  3. To change the font, do the following:

    1. In the Show settings for field, select the area for which you want to set the font.

    2. In the Font field, select the font for the selected area.

    3. In the Size field, select the size for the font.

    The Sample area displays sample text in the selected font options.

  4. In the Maximum child nodes count field, enter the maximum number of tables, views, functions, and table functions to display per parent folder in the Object Explorer pane.

    The default value is 500. If you clear the field, no maximum number is set.

  5. Click Query in the left pane to view the query options.

  6. In the Default location for saving query results field, select where you want to have results displayed.

  7. If you selected Results to file, enter the path for the default location of the files in the Default location for results field or click the button to browse to the location.

  8. In the Query Execution area, enter the time as a positive integer in seconds that PI SQL Commander Lite will attempt to execute a query.

    Enter 0 to set no timeout.

  9. Select the Enable code completion for PI SQL Client data sources check box to see suggestions while entering queries.
