Set the displayed text

You can set the text of a text element, text box, or button in the canvas or by changing the Text property in the Properties Editor.
To set the text to display

Select the text element, text box or button on the canvas.

On the Edit menu, click Edit Text. The selected element appears in edit mode.

Type a text string and press Enter.
