Bit labels provide a preconfigured pattern of bits, with customized names and bit combinations. By default, the Bit Label Standard is selected on a new configured bit state. The selected bit labels are available in the Bit State animation editor and in the Bit Pattern Selector dialog.

The Bit Labels drop down list is only available if the pre-configured BitLabels.xml and aaBitLabelsSchema.xsd files are available under IDE root folder: <Install_root>\ArchestrA\Framework\Bin.

Selecting a Bit Label from the drop down list in the Bit Pattern Selector dialog, will display the corresponding label name for each bit, as specified in the XML file. For example, select Bit Labels "ALMSTA", the Bit Pattern Selector dialog will look as follows:

If the schema or XML file is not available in the specified folder, the Bit Labels drop-down list will be greyed out in the animation panel and the Bit Pattern Selector dialog. You will not be able to change the Bit Label.
