You can create a new instance of the object that contains an embedded graphic. The following properties of the graphic are retained:

Position and size
-
Animations
-
Override information (the TreatAsIcon property)
To create a new instance of the object that contains an embedded graphic

Select the embedded graphic.

On the Edit menu, point to Embedded Symbol, and then click New Instance. The Create Instance dialog box appears.

Type a name for the new instance in the New Instance Name box and click OK. The new instance of the object is created and the references and name of the embedded graphic are updated to point at it.
