Language settings for popup graphics

  • Last UpdatedJul 22, 2024

At run time, all popup graphics are shown using the current language setting for WindowViewer. The popup graphic always tries to show the current language, even if the graphic opening the pop-up does not support the language.

For example, a graphic S1 is configured with French and German languages. The following steps show how the current language setting updates:

  1. Switch the language from French to German in WindowViewer.

The current language setting is German.

  2. Open a popup graphic S2 from the graphic S1.

The graphic S2 is shown using the German language. If graphic S2 does not have German language configured, then it is shown using its last saved default language.

  3. Close the popup graphic S2.

  4. Change the Language property of the graphic S1 to French. The current language setting of the InTouch WindowViewer is now German, and the language setting of the graphic S1 is French.

  5. Open a popup graphic S2 from the graphic S1.

The graphic S2 is shown using the French language. If graphic S2 does not have French language configured then it is shown using its last saved default language.
