You can set the appearance of the check box within the control to be either flat or three-dimensional.

To set the 3D appearance of a check box control

Select the Check Box control.

In the Properties Editor, select from the list for the ControlStyle property:

Click ThreeD for a three-dimensional check box.

Click Flat for a flat two-dimensional check box in the same color as the caption text.
