Interpret responses from Industrial AI Assistant (Preview)

The response you receive from Industrial AI Assistant (Preview) will typically include a description of the information that was referred to and a summary of how it relates to your question. A description of any calculations may also be provided. This will typically explain any assumptions that were made and include advice on how to interpret the results.

In some cases, the name of an element may include a hyperlink. This will occur if any associated documents or images are available in AVEVA Unified Engineering and AVEVA Administration. You can select a link to display the content. Links may also be included for saved content and engineering documents.

Citations

Citations are included for any answers that are derived from the data in AVEVA Unified Engineering and AVEVA Administration. This gives you easy access to the information used to generate a response. It provides transparency and allows you to validate the source data before you take any further action.

Citation information is presented as links to information from the document knowledge base.

To display the citation information, select Show citations.

To omit the citation information, select Hide citations.

To access the citation information, select the required link.

Single action

The assistant presents a single Direct Command Execution (DCE) option when there is only one possible way to complete the request:

Multiple actions

When the assistant cannot determine a single best option, it presents a bulleted list of up to three possible actions:

When a request requires multiple tools to be used in a specific order, the assistant displays them in a numbered list:

For each action, you can select Show details to view a brief explanation. From there, you can select Learn more to generate a more detailed response and review the citations used to generate that response

Select Activate tool to carry out the action described in the response.

The response may include an in-text link:

Select the link to initiate the command.

Regenerate response

You can evaluate the response generated by the Industrial AI Assistant (Preview).

If the response is acceptable, no further action is required.

If the response is not acceptable, you can select to generate a new response. If the response is still not acceptable, try rephrasing the question.

View the most recent question

To view the most recent question, position the cursor in the question box and select the up arrow key.

Clear the question box

To clear the question box, position the cursor in the question box and select .

Clear the chat

To clear the current chat, right-click and select Clear chat from the dropdown menu.

Start a new conversation

To start a new conversation, right-click and select New conversation from the dropdown menu.
