Merging Databases

When setting up a project in a Global environment, the user is likely to create many sessions in the Global database. This is because when ADMIN issues a Daemon command, it first does a SAVEWORK to give the Daemon an up-to-date view of the Global database. The Daemon also may add sessions to the Global database.

We recommend that the user should merge changes for the Global database and possibly the system database after setting up a Global project. This should also be done after making significant changes to the project setup.
