Add Active Directory User

To add an active directory user

1. Select Manage tab, in the Admin Elements group, click AD Configuration.

   Note:
   By default, AD Configuration is enabled (option is colored). If AD Configuration is not enabled, click the button to display the AD Configuration area (down-right).

   

2. Click Create to display the Active Directory User Creation window.

   

3. Type the user domain name into the Qualified Name field, for example, user.name@company.com (as it is deposited in your work environment).

4. Type the required user name into the Name field, for example, user.name.

   

5. In the Project Users area, select ENG.PROC / Process Eng.

6. Click the right-arrow icon to populate the Authenticated Users area accordingly.

7. Click Apply to populate the Ad Configuration area with the appropriate user name.

   

8. Click Savework (top-left corner) to save the settings.

9. Click X (top-right corner) to close the AVEVA Administration application.

   You can start your execution project in AVEVA Engineering - Engineer module as Process Engineer (no password required) (in the example, the execution project is EPT).

   

   You can now Configure AVEVA Engineering.
