Configure AVEVA Unified Engineering before Initial Start

Prerequisite

• Install AVEVA Unified Engineering.

  Note:
  AVEVA recommends to close all application sessions before configuring AVEVA Unified Engineering before initial start.

To configure AVEVA Unified Engineering before initial start

1. In the Windows Search field, type Unified to display the best match.

   

2. Click AVEVA Unified Engineering.

3. Click Open to display the Initial Configuration window.

   

4. Select Browse to display the Browse For Folder window.

   

5. Navigate to the location of your AVEVA projects, for example, C:/Users/Public/Public Documents/AVEVA/Projects/UE.

6. Type the folder name, for example

7. Click OK to populate the Projects Folder field with the selected folder.

   

8. Click Next to display the Help Improve AVEVA Unified Engineering window.

   

9. Select Enable Telemetry to allow AVEVA to collect data about software and hardware configuration and the use of the application.

10. Click Next to display the Accept EULA window.

    

11. Select I Agree.

12. Click Finish.

    You can now Start AVEVA Unified Engineering.
