Add Data Sources and Configure Settings for AVEVA PRO/II Simulation

Prerequisites

• Prepare Folder Structure for Storage of Simulation Output.

• Open AVEVA Integration Settings Service in Browser.

To add a data source and configure the settings for AVEVA PRO/II Simulation

1. On the Data Sources page, select Add Data Source to display the Add Configuration side sheet.

2. In the Name line, enter AVEVA PRO II Simulation.

3. In the Product dropdown list, select AVEVA PRO/II Simulation.

   

   The selection of AVEVA PRO/II Simulation as Product reduces the data source entries.

4. In the Simx file path on Server row, enter the path to the prepared storage folder for the AVEVA PRO/II Simulation projects, for example, C:\SIMU_PR\PROII\simulation.

5. In the SVG Output row, enter the path to the prepared storage folder for the AVEVA PRO/II Simulation outputs, for example, C:\SIMU_PR\PROII\svg, so that the Test Datasource button becomes available.

   

6. Select Test Datasource.

   The AVEVA Integration Service prepares the datasource with the appropriate settings and displays a message.

   

7. Click OK.

8. In the Add Data Source side sheet, select Save to add the data source and display another Success message.

   

9. Click OK.

   The Data Sources page displays AVEVA PRO/II Simulation now.

   

   Note: If the new data source is not available, reload the page.
