Side-by-side Installations of Earlier AVEVA Model Simplification Releases

It is not possible to run more than one version of AVEVA Model Simplification with a single release of AVEVA E3D Design.

The recommended sequence of operations to install the latest compatible version of AVEVA Model Simplification across several versions of AVEVA E3D Design is:

• Ensure that your system meets the minimum system requirements for the AVEVA E3D Design/AVEVA Unified Engineering versions in use.

• Ensure that the AVEVA E3D Design versions are installed and running correctly.

• Uninstall all versions of AVEVA Model Simplification unless the required earlier versions are already present on the system and none are installed on AVEVA E3D Design or AVEVA Unified Engineering for which this release is being added.
