Application Environment

High resolution wide-screen display is recommended (1920 x 1080); dual screens are also supported. For more information, see Change Graphic Card Resolution.

The user interface requires the use of the Arial Unicode MS font, which is supplied with Microsoft Office (version 2000 onwards) and is usually installed automatically. If this font is not installed, some of the text in the user interface may become illegible.

The layout of some GUI forms may also be adversely affected if the screen font size is not set to the smallest size, which is usually default. For more information, see Change Font Size.

If AVEVA Unified Engineering is installed with AVEVA Database Cache Service you must activate Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) as a prerequisite of the installation. For more information, see Database Cache Service Installation Guide.
