Unified Engineering Roles Service in CONNECT

If your CONNECT account is subscribed to the Unified Engineering Roles service, you can manage your users (E3D Design or Engineering) within AVEVA Unified Engineering. You can add roles per user or per group. In the Assign role form, there are two roles you can assign to:
Note: If you are unable to see the Unified Engineering Roles service enabled on your account, contact your Account Manager.

1D / 2D Role |
Provides access to Engineering modules. If you assign a user to the 1D / 2D Role in CONNECT, they are only able to launch the Engineering modules (Engineer and Configuration) in AVEVA Unified Engineering. |

1D / 2D / 3D Role |
Provides access to E3D Design and Engineering modules. If you assign a user to the 1D / 2D / 3D Role, they are able to launch any of the AVEVA Unified Engineering modules, whether or not they are assigned to the 1D / 2D Role. |
Note: If your CONNECT account is subscribed to the Unified Engineering Roles service, users must be assigned to one of the roles. Any users without role assignments cannot enter AVEVA Unified Engineering.
